Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

No Christmas is complete without a festive tree and here at the shop there is no exception to that rule.  For us buying our tree is a ritual enjoyed yearly and now to be enjoyed by our daughter who will get to chose her first Christmas tree.  I have always preferred to buy from tree farms direct rather than get a tree that has been sitting around for a few weeks without water.  We are fortunate to be very close to a new Christmas Tree Farm just outside Bradworthy which we will be visiting tomorrow to pick a tree for the shop.

They are a young Christmas Tree farm planting their first christmas trees in 2005.  With approximately 30,000 christmas trees in the ground, they have a variety of species including Norway Spruce, Nordmann Fir, Noble Fir, Frazier Fir and Blue Spruce.  They also have smaller, potted christmas trees.  Christmas trees are now available, up to 6 foot tall, for choosing yourselves.  They will then cut and net them for you to take home. Why not bring the whole family? Just remember to please come prepared with wellies!

They have christmas trees ready cut, for those with less time.
They are open everyday from 1st to 24th December, 10am to 4pm.  If you wish to visit at any other time, please ring to arrange.  Full contact information and directions are available on their website

Once you have your tree just pop along to the shop the buy some unique decorations for it!
